I think both teams would look back on a defeat as a significant missed opportunity. It's a bit like when England had half an hour to get an equaliser against ten-man Brazil in 2002 and couldn't capitalise.

Most people just seemed to find it a bit weird. Whatever the case, it's a bit worrying that someone in the audience could just walk up on stage with the award recipients. It doesn't seem like a very secure operation.
