  1. The next Smash Bros. character is being revealed tomorrow.
  2. There's a nifty trick some people are using with EA Access on Xbox. When Access becomes EA Play and joins Game Pass, anyone who has time remaining on their Access subscriptions will have them automatically converted to Game Pass subscriptions at a ratio of 3:1. That means that if you buy twelve months of EA Access through the Microsoft Store (£19.99 in the UK and $29.99 in the USA), it will be converted to four months of Game Pass in November. It's a good way to extend your Game Pass subscription for half the price.
  3. You'll keep your purchases and I haven't heard anything to suggest that family sharing will change. Unless it's a game that requires Kinect, anything that works on an Xbox One will work on a Series X or S.
  4. It looks as thought the National League is getting a government grant to keep clubs afloat as the season starts without fans. This Saturday is still the planned start date.
  5. You'll presumably have to wait for them to join the service. EA Play doesn't usually put its games on there until at least several months after they release.
  6. EA Play will officially join Game Pass on 10th November, which makes a lot of sense, given what else is coming out that day.
  7. Looks as though next-gen backwards compatibility is more alluring than some might have thought. This is without any optimisation tweaks, so the console improves performance on old games out of the box.
  8. I hope Everton and Leicester can keep this up. More contenders for European places are always welcome.
  9. If it were on Game Pass for Xbox, it would almost certainly be on Game Pass for PC as well.
  10. Unless game file sizes increase significantly, it doesn't seem like an insurmountable problem. If you have a slow internet connection, transferring games to external hard drives is probably a good idea.
  11. So that was what those PC trademarks were about. I wonder when/if Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake will join them.
  12. You ought to try Two Point Hospital as well. It's on Switch now.
  13. Liverpool's second string team is still very good.
  14. GAME in the UK and Gamestop in the USA will apparently have more PS5 pre-order stock tomorrow.
  15. It isn't the first time it's happened, but I can't imagine playing Football Manager on a console. Using a controller to navigate the menus sounds like such a pain.
  16. Doom Eternal is coming to Game Pass next month, beginning the Bethesda barrage.
  17. I think it just says that those games are coming to Series X/S in Japan, not necessarily through Game Pass.
  18. For everyone who wanted Smash Bros. with only Kirby.
  19. Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are reportedly interested in buying Wrexham FC. Somehow, this is a tame story by today's standards.
  20. Sony takes the boring approach to naming its consoles, and it works. It's a lot easier to tell the difference between a PS4 and a PS5 than it is to distinguish between a range of nondescript letter codes.
  21. Sales of the Xbox One X have increased by 747% on Amazon. I wonder how many of those sales are to people who mistakenly thought they were buying a Series X.
  22. Notts County are playing Harrogate in the FA Trophy right now. It's weird to think that this could be Notts' last competitive match of the year, or even the season.
  23. Forget all these next-gen consoles. Chip's Challenge is free on Steam now.
  24. Running Up That Hill encapsulates what I like and dislike about Kate Bush. She has a powerful voice and the understated backings usually give her songs a nice platform, but I feel that a lot of her songs don't really go anywhere. It's the same sort of reason why a lot of modern indie stuff doesn't fully click with me.
