Is Wrestling Empire meant to be the same as Wrestling Revolution 3D or will there be significant differences?

So is it mechanically OK? I'm interested, but if it's utterly terrible to control, it's probably not for me. I really can't tell from the footage if it's a terrible game that's held up by a wacky season mode or something that's actually fun to play with. I'm not expecting something as good as Fire Pro, but I don't want to play something that isn't at least functional.

Are those games actually good wrestling games or is the appeal just in the zaniness?

Probably. I think that's a big reason a lot of people fiddle with their consoles.

Is it a good game for people new to the genre? I'd like to give it a try, but I don't want to be overwhelmed.

Callum Smith fights Canelo tomorrow. Smith will have a big size advantage, but Canelo is very much the betting favourite and will become a four-weight champion if he wins. It's a bit strange that this has fallen under a radar a bit.

I think Wales ought to be OK for second place at least. Ireland or Scotland for second place in Group B is a more interesting one. As we've said, though, a lot can change in three years. A couple of years ago, Ireland were probably the world's form team and England were finishing fifth in the Six Nations.

Argentina beat New Zealand recently and drew twice with Australia. They're definitely the toughest third pot team and should cause England problems. If France's young players develop well over the next three years, the match against New Zealand should be a great one. I really don't know why they always make the draw so far ahead of the tournament. Today's seedings might bear little resemblance to the state of international rugby in 2023. I fully expect Argentina to be better than a third pot side in 2023 and Wales to no longer be a first pot team, probably replaced by France or Australia. England could well be a second-tier side by then.

You can play in 4K without a 2.1 port. 2.1 is needed for any games that can run at 120fps, but it's definitely not essential. Good television with 2.1 ports are really expensive at the moment, so it's very much a luxury purchase.

I always enjoyed watching Houllier's Liverpool team. The 2001/2002 treble-winning season was particularly entertaining. While some of his signings didn't work out, he did bring the likes of Hyypia, Riise, Dudek and Smicer to the Premier League at relatively low prices. They were some of my favourite players of that era. I see Alan Sugar has been a cock about it, using the news to "banter" with his friend Piers Morgan.

I watched Hill House about a month ago and thought it was very good. I've heard that Bly Manor isn't quite up to the same standard, so I haven't given that a look yet. I watched it and was pleasantly surprised on the whole. It's a show I've watched previously, and while it had its moments, I can't say I was much of a fan because I couldn't really relate to it at all. It's still a crude show that sometimes annoys me, but I think it has more of a heart than it did before.

Spoilers for a decade-old game: I now wonder if the upcoming remasters might add in a thing or two at the end to set the new game up. It's an interesting thought.
