  1. I've never had strong feelings either way on Leeds. It seems that fans of every other Yorkshire team hate them.
  2. PES 2021, Injustice 2 and Torchlight 3 have been announced for Game Pass this month. That's alongside the previously revealed additions, like The Medium and Yakuzas 3-5. Microsoft also teased that a game that was part of the service for a short time will be coming back this month. It might be GTA V or Red Dead Redemption 2, but a less exciting possibility would be Fallout 4, which was always going to be returning at some point following the Zenimax purchase. In other Xbox-related matters, today is the day when Quantum Break predicted would be the end of time. That's a prospect that doesn't seem too bad right now.
  3. It is. I remember buying Metal Gear Solid V on PC and that was what I got. I thought I'd be getting a disc to install the files more quickly than I could download them, but that wasn't the case.
  4. The box will have to come with a Steam activation code to install the game, so you'll be fine. Some boxed PC games actually don't even come with a disc at all nowadays.
  5. I share some of these thoughts. I think both games are fun and do a lot of things well, but I also don't think the narrative was quite as masterful as some critics do. It wasn't very subtle, anyway. But obviously, people hating it because they're anti-woke edgelords is ridiculous, as is said people harassing the voice actors. I feel as though nuanced discussion on the game has been drowned out by the extreme opinions at either end of the scale.
  6. Oh, damn. I've seen Children of Bodom a couple of times and enjoyed some of their music. Laiho seemed like a good frontman too.
  7. The first Hitman definitely did for a while.
  8. How is Jimmy Greaves only getting an MBE? I'm really surprised he hasn't received an honour before now.
  9. He was quite good the first time round, wasn't he? Things haven't been great since then for him, though.
  10. Is it worth looking for a parent club?
  11. I inherited a big squad, so I imagine that's the biggest problem financially. As I said, most of their contracts are expiring at the end of the season, so a lot of them will be off the wage bill. I'm now wondering about good recruitment approaches to build up a League One squad that isn't awful.
  12. I usually play as an international team, but I recently started as an unemployed manager. I got the Stevenage job and we're now heading for League Two promotion. Most of my best players are loanees and I'm slightly over the wage budget through no fault of my own. Most of my permanent players are out of contract at the end of the season too. What would be a good way to tackle this for the next season? Is it a case of ruthlessly getting rid of the dead wood and seeking out some other good loan deals and free agents?
  13. 1. Better Call Saul 2. The Good Place 3. Bojack Horseman 4. What We Do in the Shadows 5. The Mandalorian 6. Big Mouth I took a while to put this list together because I had to work out which of the shows I watched this year were actually new ones. As it turns out, most of them weren't.
  14. Was that second Exeter goal more or less straight from the kickoff? How about the first?
  15. @RPSIf you're still offering help, what are your best tips for Monster Train?
  16. This isn't Christmas-themed, but I'd like to watch Blade Runner 2049 in the next couple of days. I just haven't got round to setting aside the time for it, but I might be able now that I'm away from work for the next week.
  17. There haven't been a huge number of Switch discounts over the years. I don't imagine we'll see a major one for a while.
  18. I see Alex May was trying to buy the club recently. He's a fraudster who also try to buy Notts County last year. Sol Campbell appears to be the bookmakers' favourite to take over as manager. He did a decent job at Macclesfield, but I still wouldn't wish him on your club.
  19. I'd say that a bigger memory card is a good purchase. They're not expensive and come in handy if you're downloading games.
  20. There are difficulty settings, so it's not like the Souls games in that regard. The most difficult part is sometimes working out where you're supposed to go because the maps are quite labyrinthine.
  21. I've started Hades and that will be something I keep coming back to. Thanks to the recommendations on here, and thanks also to Game Pass, I'm also playing Monster Train. It's good fun and I can play it in short sessions, which is handy.
  22. I just bought Jurassic World for £3.99 on Steam, so this is a tad annoying. Oh, well.
  23. Well, all of them, given that they're free.
  24. This is an apparent leak of the free Epic Games Store titles. It was shared online three days ago and has been correct so far.
  25. I didn't end up voting for anyone. I didn't really feel strongly enough to make a pick. Oh, wow. Doyle third. I definitely wasn't expecting that. No surprises that Hamilton won. Fury not making the podium is satisfying.
