  1. You'd be able to download the game without Galaxy anyway, so it shouldn't be a problem. The only thing is that, without running the game through Galaxy, you'd have to manually download new patches.
  2. They've been battling relegation in recent years and have been struggling financially, so this is a very impressive achievement.
  3. I'm sad for Lincoln, but glad that Tom Hopper wasn't triumphant.
  4. I'm starting to look forward to this. Hype levels in this country haven't seemed as low as this since Euro 2008, but I'm ready for an international tournament. I hope we see another new winner.
  5. I give him a fair chance in the sprint events, but it's the swimming I'm worried about.
  6. I think I'm right in saying that this has been the case for all three of their Champions League final appearances.
  7. No doubt. I knew they were talking about $70 games in the USA, but £70 is taking a rather sizeable volume of piss.
  8. It's £60 when it's on sale? Goodness me.
  9. I tried it on Game Pass and didn't get on with it. It's nice to be able to try it out without losing money, though.
  10. Sonic the Hedgehog is going to be a playable character in Two Point Hospital.
  11. It surprises me that a team the size of Sheffield United hadn't had an overseas manager up until this point. I can't imagine that's the case for many clubs in the top couple of divisions.
  12. Ellefson had previously left the band for a long time before returning in 2010. Mustaine is no stranger to being the only original member.
  13. Maybe Bamford should opt for Ireland instead.
  14. I find it interesting that Ian Wright's on Match of the Day, yet he's part of the ITV team for international tournaments.
  15. The recently announced Victoria 3 will be on Game Pass at launch. Nice.
  16. It's often a similar process. There's a competition with a public vote. This year, however, the BBC just selected the artist and song internally, as it had done between 2011 and 2015. It seems that most of the UK's recent performers have been finalists in shows like The X-Factor and The Voice. With the public perception of Eurovision over here not being very positive, established acts don't tend to see entering as being worth the effort.
  17. Sandie Shaw might be a better shout.
  18. I'm not sure it needs to be a well known act, but the UK would do a lot better if it put forward songs of any substance. I feel as though the problem in most recent years is that the UK songs have been plodding numbers that go nowhere and have nothing memorable about them. This year's German song was bad, but it was gimmicky enough to earn a handful of points, whereas the UK entry was the sort you'd forget about immediately after hearing it. Name value probably helps a bit, though. The UK finished 19th in 2013 with a characteristically dull song, and I'm sure it would have come last or thereabouts if it hadn't been sung by Bonnie Tyler. Similarly, Blue finished 11th in 2011 (and 5th in the televote) with a pedestrian entry.
  19. They've been the form team for the last few weeks. Torquay have to feel that they've thrown away a major opportunity, though. They weren't fancied at the start of the season, but they were a long way ahead not so long ago. I reckon Stockport should be favourite for the playoffs, as much as I'd like to see a certain other team go up. Meanwhile, Hornchurch of the Ithsmian Premier League won the FA Trophy. The gap between the divisions at this level obviously isn't as large as it is higher up the pyramid, but it's still an impressive achievement. The original Hornchurch FC folded in 2005 and they've since got themselves up to the third non-league tier, and this is the highest-profile competition they've ever won.
  20. Finland's act is like a mix of Korn and Linkin Park.
  21. I can't tell if Germany's song is upbeat or passive aggressive.
  22. It's a nice geographical split.
  23. This has been quite a good lineup so far.
