Excellent news about Back 4 Blood on Game Pass. It leaked early, but official confirmation is nice. Avalanche, eh? Interesting.

The original STALKER games were balls hard. I hope this one has an easy mode.

It did seem a bit more in line with No Man's Sky that, say, Mass Effect. I read that STALKER 2 has only three months of Xbox exclusivity. That ray-tracing looks nice.

Putting forward a specific date this far out is unusual. I naively hope that means they're taking their time and not crunching. It's particularly interesting to see that Xbox One wasn't mentioned in the platforms there.

I think it's probably too far out to be the "main eventer" of the show.

When was the last time England played well in their first match of a major tournament? Tunisia in 1998? Even then, Tunisia had the better of the first half-hour.

If it takes four years to reach that point, I'll look forward to many more years of E3 no-shows.

Pretty much, but it's only on PC at the moment. And so that's another Ubisoft showcase with no mention of Beyond Good and Evil 2 or Skull and Bones. It's as if Ubisoft saw Sony show The Last Guardian and Final Fantasy 7 Remake in 2015 and decided that they needed to restore the E3 vapourware tradition.

This looks as if it's trying to be Horizon: Zero Dawn, but the animals are actually animals this time.
