  1. Who predicted that the only former winners left in the second half of the quarter-final draw would be Denmark?
  2. It's shocking how bad Germany have become over the last few years. Their squad might not be as strong as it was in 2014, but they ought to be better than this.
  3. Anyone fancy seeing another two-goal deficit clawed back in the final minutes?
  4. ROCK YOU LIKE A HARRY KANE
  5. I like how they showed footage of a white English fan with his head in his hands after the replay of Sterling's goal.
  6. Watch them concede this free kick now.
  7. Thank goodness for Sterling.
  8. I can only think of three good scoring chances England have created so far in this tournament, and Sterling scored two of them.
  9. If England lose this match, prepare to read all the usual post-defeat analysis: . The team was focused too heavily on being woke to play well . The Premier League schedule is too gruelling for England to do well at major tournaments . The manager should drop all the overpaid, passionless prima donnas and pick lower league players instead . The referees were biased against England because of their Brexit jealousy
  10. That France v Spain treat has to wait for another time.
  11. Brilliant. What a match. I'm so happy for Switzerland.
  12. I've been keeping an eye on both this match and Andy Murray at Wimbledon. I have no hesitation in calling this the most exciting day of live sport since crowds were allowed back.
  13. Murray must have had an eye on the football and decided to emulate its drama.
  14. Someone tell Jeff that it's unbelievable.
  15. Surely it can't happen again today.
  16. France v Spain should be a treat.
  17. Unbelievable. I don't see how Murray can win this now.
  18. He's been looking good until the last few games. Seems he's struggling to get over the line.
  19. I hope we get a penalty shootout. I'm neutral, so it would be fun for me.
  20. Tsitsipas is two sets down.
  21. 19-year-old Jack Draper just took the first set against Djokovic. Tremendous achievement.
  22. That's a big shame because she was playing well on grass. Judging by the French Open, the women's tournament should be really wide open, though. As for the men's draw, with Nadal not competing and Federer still getting back into shape after surgery, it's hard to see past Djokovic again. Tsitsipas and Zverev ought to be his closest rivals, but Rublev and Berrettini have also looked good lately. As much as I'd like to say that Andy Murray's a contender, he doesn't seem to have it in him over the course of multiple matches these days. I'd quite like to see him commit to a doubles partnership with Jamie.
