Sources: Nash Wins MVP
Phoenix Suns guard Steve Nash will be named the NBA's Most Valuable Player on Sunday, ESPN.com's Marc Stein has learned. Nash has edged Miami center Shaquille O'Neal to become just the third point guard in 40-plus years to win the honor.

In the playoffs, it's all about defense. A Spurs-Pistons matchup I think would be real competitive. If you don't enjoy a good defensive battle then you aren't a true NBA fan because defense wins championships and thats why the Spurs and Pistons would be there.
And about Bruce Bowen being a dirty player, no he's not a dirty player. The play where he "moved under VC while he was in the air is BS. Bowen was just playing solid defense. Bruce Bowen has to go up against the teams best players night in and night out and contains them most of the time and the other players get frustrated over it.

Actually, Boykins foot was on the line, they showed the replay from several angles and it wasn't even close.
That was probably one of the worst reffed games ever just because of the whistle having to be blown every time down the court, and I'm sick and tired of hearing the Denver crowd chanting "Bullshit" and booing Manu Ginobili everytime he touches the ball. No Class.
-
okay, i'm sorry but now is a good time to bring back this topic.
Game 4 between the Spurs and the Nuggets, every time down the floor theres always a foul called, its BS. The Nuggets should be happy after bitching and moaning about the "horrible officiating". I can't enjoy a playoff basketball game because of a foul being called every 10 seconds and Carmelo Anthony getting his way to the line on such BS calls, half of these fouls are just pure bullshit.
But enough for now, I'm watching the Spurs win this ballgame from the freethrow line.
-
The Spurs usually start off a little cold, but that was just about the first five minutes when they were struggling. But whatever little respect I had for Carmelo Anthony just went down the drain. His cheapshot at Manu Ginobili was just uncalled for. I hope Melo gets fined/suspended for that cheapshot.
Spurs in 5.

I still think the Rockets are going to take the series, but whoever comes out of that series will lose to phoenix.
Spurs are still going all the way this year.

how often? it seems on poker stars they happen every so often, but on tropics poker, they have 2 free rolls a day, one at 4 PM and one at 8 PM
-
i like programs that have plenty of free rolls, i play tropics poker, which have free rolls, but hte only problem is, besides the free rolls, that place is dead.
are there any programs that have free rolls, but are actually...well popular?

yeah, the spurs are inconistant without timmy, but come playoff time, we'll be healthy enough, and we have the experience with parker, ginobili, and duncan to win the NBA title.

if you saw the last 10 laps of daytona, thats what makes the sport great.

I play a lot of madden as well. I think I'm pretty good too. Maybe we should play. My EA online name is y2jerichoholic. Only thing, my ps2 was shipped to sony the other day because it broke, so i should be getting it back in a week or so.

Vince Carter is a punk. He's acting as if Bruce Bowen came down on him intentionally. What a freakin' crybaby. He may have gotten his 43, but the Spurs got the W.
And as for the Pistons, they really haven't surprised me this season. I don't think anyone in the East can stop the Heat this year. Heck, if the Cavaliers keep it up, they could be contenders too.

:lmao:
Watching the lakers lose to the hawks last night has to be one of the funniest things i've ever seen. Just imagine how much worse it would've been with Kobe playing.
The Twolves and Lakers have been very disapointing this year.

Madden 2005 (Green Bay Packers)
NCAA Football 2005 (Texas Longhorns)
NBA Live 2005 (San Antonio Spurs)
and soon to come: MVP 2005 (Houston Astros)
It sucks not having a ps2 right now

Okay, my PS2 has been acting wierd lately, for the past couple weeks, my PS2 has been acting wierd. When I first put Madden into the system, it gives me a disc read error, so then I put in the laser disc cleaner, then it works fine, although throughout the game, my ps2 made wierd noises like the game was being grinded up inside there. Today, I get another disc read error so I just put the laser disc cleaner back in the system, and now it's giving me a disc read error for that.
I guess my PS2 is hosed, but where should I go to get it looked at and how much would it cost? I'm running low on cash, and from whatever cash I have, I was going to use it to by MVP 05.
Any help is appreciated.

The Spurs are owning right now. Who can stop them? I seriously think they can win 67-70 games this season barring injuries to Duncan.

Today's the biggest day for college football fans in America. Where are tommorow's stars in the NFL going?
Ryan Perriloux made a commitment to Texas, but I have a feeling he's going to LSU because he's from Louisiana and his parents are really pressuring him. Texas could really use this guy.

actually before they both went out, the spurs were up by about 12 or 14, so the spurs were still dominating this game ever since the tip.
