I have more CDs than you and I can carry them around on a tiny MP3 player.

The thing is, when I just had music on my computer I had less desire to get more songs than when I got an iPod to put them on. Couple that with the fact that I like many different genres of music and a 5GB iPod is full in a month or two. Sure there are songs I always skip right by, but music is very mood oriented. It's hard to choose which songs you don't want anymore, and when you do get rid of some, it's inevitable that you'll kick yourself for it later.

You want more than 1GB. Mine is 5GB and far too small.

I think the term of "bad beat" is pretty useless now. Too many people who think they know everything there is to know about poker use it everytime they have the best of it and get beat. If that's what a bad beat is supposed to be, then it seems like a pretty useless term, considering that it happens in nearly every hand. That being said, the move you made was correct. Ideally, you would have been dealt the jacks in a later position, but you can't choose that, and you couldn't call or fold there.

I haven't been on PP in a long time, but when I was, the play was quite mediocre. You guys should be able to raise this up fairly easy if you play a tight, basic game.

Whilst we're on the topic of poker can anyone explain in plain english why a flush beats a straight. To my way of thinking if you are sat on 4 of a suit compared to needing the final connector your odds of hitting it have to be higher, there's 13 of a suit and only 4 of each denomination, so how exactly is it harder to make a flush?

No, he's right, you're retarded. It's unamazing that you hit a straight with Queen Nine. You only needed three cards. I hit 4 cards to make a straight, and a straight was my only way out as he had a poket pair of kings. After the flop you needed 2 cards. I went all in before the flop, with an 8 and a 2. One out, and I hit it.

I know they have 50 cent tables, FTP has tables as low as .05/.10 but what I mean is how low they'd allow a private tournament buy-in to be.

How low does it go? I've seen $2 + $.20 ones

EWB needs a nice little, affordable buy-in, hold'em tournament. Like five bucks or something.

Also, a lot of times in home games with new players, moreso than any big error in the way they play their cards, I see a lot of people who find out about tells on TV and then try to send out false ones and fool everybody. Don't bother.

Edit: Signed up as Generation Next, a Canadian pop band. Now... what makes this game so great? I know it's a beta... but I'm not seeing much difference between this and Music Maven.
