I have every Alice In Chains album and most of a complete Megadeth collection.
-
Iron Maiden - Rime of the Ancient Mariner (I like my poetry with metal behind it.)
David Bowie - Suffragette City
Metallica - Blitzkrieg
Megadeth - 99 Ways To Die
Misfits - Helena

I love both songs, and recognized the similarity right away, but I never thought of it as plagiarism. I haven't listened to this yet though.

Although I love WoW, I hate the concept of the MMORPG. You just shouldn't have to pay for a game after buying it, especially when the WoW servers tend to be shaky at best so it's not like all the money really appears to be helping the game experience.

Anyone have a list of the acoustic songs Trivium has done?

As someone who is always looking to try new bands and new music, it occured to me today that it would be good to have a topic where each person would pick a band and recommend five or so songs that they really like from that artist to get us started with an explanation on why you chose each song. Nobody would do a band that had already been done, unless their opinions on the song choices were drastically different.
I know it'd be helpful to me, because I always hear about bands I wanna try but it's hard to get started with them. Sometimes you kind of have to start at a certain point to like a band's other material, and peer to peer programs aren't always helpful with that.
So, with that, the songs should probably be five that you think would provide the best introduction as to what the band sounds like. If they have various sounds, you should include a song that showcases each. If this works, hopefully after awhile we'd have an impressive recommendations list.
Iunno, it's worth a try.

Bill Hicks, Mitch Hedberg, Sarah Silverman, Eddie Izzard, Bill Maher (when he's at his best).

I just bought it. Holy shit this is awesome. Very pleasantly suprised.

Trivium by far. I'm not fond of what I have heard of KsE, but then again, I am not sure i've heard the newer stuff.
-
I think you'll all find this amusing.

I have The Sims 2, University, Nightlife, and I had Open For Business but the disc is no good and I decided the game was mind numbingly boring so I just got my money back.
-
Lost by far. I like 24, but i've never been really into it. It's just a nice show to watch for me. If I were to miss a week (which I wouldn't, DVR is awesome), I would not care.

While you may have gotten all of the match participants on there, it's very unclear from the graphic what the matches are, and thus defeats the purpose of bothering with getting them all on there. If you have to sacrifice a few cuts or something to make that more clear, it will still do a much better job for what it's meant to be.

BSSM for me. Nevermind is a lesser Nirvana album for me, and UYI I & II are hit and miss for me.

Slayer are to release an EP shortly, which will only be available through the Hot Topic Stores in America.
The EP release will precede their new, as yet untitled album, and is will include one new song, 'Cult'.
Metal Hammer.
So... who in America loves me >_>
You can order it online and get it sent over surely.

I choose Seasons In The Abyss, because as huge a Slayer fan as I may be, it's the only album where I like every song.

Anyone else watch this show? I'm seriously shocked at how unexpectedly good it really is.
-
So, I haven't played in ages but now that I have one kickass computer, I kinda wanna. Is the expansion out yet? Has anyone played it if it is?

Bach and Ian are sex. Nugent blows and will probably fuck up everything.
-
My only other criticism is the order the songs are in if you're listening to the album all the way through. It has a lot more variety than other PJ albums and they failed to make it flow. The change in pace from song to song can be annoying.
-
There's actually a lot more range than one would probably expect. There are a few songs like WWS; Big Wave and Comatose come to mind. Contrastingly, Parachutes and Army Reserve are very slow and relaxing, so it's a very satisfying mixed bag for me. Though, I would say Vedder's voice sounds a bit off from previous PJ albums throughout, especially when he yells, but I like it. It's just different.

I see no topic for the new Pearl Jam album, why the fuck not? It's awesome.
