Just a couple of random things (that any Sherdog reader could pick up) that I felt worth mentioning: -Nogueira said he would like to fight Mir again in his next fight, hopefully as soon as December. -Sean Salmon apparently threw his last fight as a way to remain in his camp. He has issued a statement saying his words were misinterpreted, but the verdict is open.

Just curious, what do you not like about Sherk's fights? He can both wrestle and stand and never hesitates to give his all in fights. At times he can become sloppy, but he makes up for it by continuing to press. Even with 5 or his last 7 fights (just looking at his current UFC run) going to the scorecards the guy still has an excitement factor that keeps you glued to the screen. (My opinion on him).

Come on, MPH - you don't really believe that do you? I know quite a few establishments that air WEC on a regular basis during fights or replays. Also, a number of the casual fans I know actually watched WEC, EliteXC/Strikeforce when they aired over a UFC event (due to the PPV differences).

Here is my issue with that - known pothead or not - if you have a medical prescription for something I truly believe that as long as he is not entering the fight high (who was it that said they used to fight stoned? I can't recall.) then he should be exempt from the Marijuana portion of the test. You know he is going to test positive for it, he knows he is going to test positive for him and for whatever reason there is a doctor behind him testing positive for it.

Sherdog is reporting that UFC has picked up the Rothwell-Gormley bout from the Affliction card and has it set for UFC 104. I'm excited, to say the least.

Just unlocked "That Was Easy" achievement, although it was the SECOND time I did it. First one didn't count for me for some reason. Anyway, it was purely accidental. I was Kongo against Nog and just as they commentary said "Kongo is one of that guys that if you could really teach him some great wrestling or jiu jitsu he could...." left hand KO, by accident as well, to end the fight. Wasn't even looking at the tv full, was distracted when I punched.

I've envisioned multi-man MMA fights so many times in the past it isn't funny. In reality it would be dire, but in passing it's something to humor yourself by imagining it.

Went 14-0 in my Lightweight career going into my title first - went four rounds, deep in the fourth Huerta mounted and GnP'd me to a pulp. Got mad and turned of the console. Just re-did the fight, willing to accept defeat and got GnP'd in the first this time easily. Should have taken the four round brawl.

I fairly enjoy their "Cadillac" tune.
