Why are you so quick to count Mariusz Pudzianowski out? First off, in order to engage with him you're going to have to get past some of the most brutal leg kicks I have ever seen. Secondly, he isn't just the former World's Strongest Man, he is an avid martial artist and practitioner. He is still very young in terms of MMA, but his background does provide merit.

sahyder, I agree - I wasn't arguing the point that he shouldn't have listened, I was just tossing in that it's not necessary.

The worse part is that iPod's aren't even on the list of electronic devices that need to be turned off during takeoff or landing. Actually, out of the thousands of flights I worked I never once heard of an iPod issue. iPod's are generally a "safe to fly" electronic device that needs no attention to it. I know pilots that land planes while wearing them.
