  1. I'm gonna try to nominate people that haven't been already. (Y) 01. Pac-Man (Pac-Man) 02. Luigi (Mario) 03. Shadow (Sonic) 04. Tails (Sonic) 05. Knuckles (Sonic) 06. Banjo/Kazooie (Banjo-Kazooie) 07. Samus (Metroid) 08. Scorpion (Mortal Kombat) 09. Bomberman (Bomberman) 10. Crash Bandicoot (Crash Bandicoot) EDIT - I was iffy on saying "Banjo/Kazooie", but since they're literally attached to one another in the games, I figured they went together. If not, however, change that to just "Banjo".
  2. "Days Go By" by Dirty Vegas. I love it.
  3. I'm wanting to make a mix featuring covers of songs by the Beatles, and I'm drawing blanks. So help me out. The only rules are that the same artist can't be used twice, nor can the same song, and that it can't be a solo performance by one of the Beatles or any post-Beatles band including a Beatle (such as "I've Just Seen A Face" by Paul McCartney/Wings). Here are the three I'm set on having so far: "I'm Looking Through You" by The Wallflowers; "Imagine" by A Perfect Circle (not technically a Beatles song, but I really dig it); "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away" by Chris Cornell (live, BBC Sessions).
  4. The Red Hot Chili Peppers, as much as I love them, 'borrow' a lot. The obvious one being "Dani California" and "Mary Jane's Last Dance" by Tom Petty, but then there's also the opening of "Can't Stop", which sounds exactly like the opening of "Eternal Life" by Jeff Buckley. There's another song, I'm thinking it's on Stadium Arcadium, that to me sounds a lot like a Stone Temple Pilots song ("Sour Girl" or "Interestate Love Song", I think), but I can't recall which song it was.
  5. Yeah. My lady friend and I are wanting to watch a bunch of horror movies next time we get together. But I can't think of anything good that's actually frightening. Like, she wants something legit. scary, but nothing comes to mind for me for whatever reason. So, yeah, throw out the suggestions. Preferably stuff that's not eight hours long.
  6. I spent like ten minutes thinking about this. Then realized I'd been listening to Nirvana's Unplugged album all day. That one wins. I'm not even overly into Nirvana, but Unplugged is amazing.
  7. I've been meaning to get back into the swing of things, so I'd be up for it.
  8. I've pimped it out here, and seen others pimp it out here as well, but Chris Cornell does an amazing acoustic of "Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson. a YouTube 'video' of it, complete with a lame photo montage. Also, perhaps a Rage Against The Machine song, or something else that's really angry?

    Hustle.

Since I'm American, tell me. Is this anything like the short-lived show "Con" that was on Comedy Central? If it is, I'll have to find a way to check it out.
  10. Because I live in the middle of nowhere, we only get like five radio stations, and most of them are mainstream country or American pop music. So, what are some good streamable, online radio stations? Actual radio stations would be nice, but net-based stations are good too. I like rock, mostly. A lot of 90s music, grunge and stuff. Indie music's nice. Acoustic stuff like Bob Dylan. So yeah, stations that would play any (or all >_>) of that stuff.
  11. "In The Clouds" - Under The Influence Of Giants Anything Jonathan Richman has ever recorded.
  12. Kitano is easily the most badass character in the movie/world. But he's not a choice, so I went for Kiriyama.
  13. I might be off here, but perhaps some stuff in the vein of the Mars Volta?
  14. "Crush" by Dave Matthews Band "Plush" by Stone Temple Pilots "Like A Stone" by Audioslave "Polly" by Nirvana "Fell on Black Days" by Soundgarden All 'rock', but nothing too heavy.
  15. Yeah. Prototype pics of the Spider-Man 3 style Venom action figure. Figured I'd bump this thread with it instead of creating a new one, since it's relevant here. Personally, I don't think he's bulky enough. And I would've preferred the Venom logo in white, but it doesn't look bad. I dig the web lines.
  16. Chris Cornell's acoustic cover of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean". It's a different song entirely. Sheer awesomeness. Nirvana's cover of "The Man Who Sold The World", originally by Bowie. I like both, but I prefer the cover. There's two. Edit - And Buckley's "Hallelujah" goes without saying, I think. ^_^
  17. Any Seinfeld DVD. That's all you need.
  18. I'll never forget my first XM radio experience. "Truly Madly Deeply" was playing on three stations. Three stations. It was bad ass.
  19. "Let's Not Shit Ourselves (To Love And To Be Loved)" by Bright Eyes. Just about anything by Bright Eyes, really. I've never seen anybody get into their performance like Conor. EDIT - "Hospital" by Jonathan Richman.
  20. Add me to the list of people who've started a new file. While we're at it, add me to the list of people who've never beaten FFVII. Now that I think about it, I'm awful at RPGs. I always get so far in, and then just stop playing. It's never because of difficulty either, I just always seem to get bored. You know, unless Pokémon games count, I can't think of a single RPG game I've ever fully beaten. >_<
  21. Already posted. But still, pretty funny.
  22. Yeah. I remember a thread requesting an e-fed, so I figured I'd give this a shot. Anybody know of any good message board RPGs? I'm looking for just the general, typical fantasy RPG, that's fairly active and is actually fun.
  23. Yeah. So. I bought Leaf Green the other day, and I'm building my team. I'm in Mt. Moon. I've been training a Mankey, which I've never really used on a team prior to this, but I'm liking it. However, I just caught a Geodude and now I can't decide. Should I keep training Mankey, or replace him with Geodude? My team isn't big enough for both, and I'm not sure which I'd prefer. =\
  24. We've already discussed this. ECW was dead by the time this scenario starts. Hell, Paul Heyman was on commentary duty at Wrestlemania X-7, which is the starting date, more or less, of the scenario. And Kevin, just for reference the data is designed to be accurate up to April 2rd, 2001, the night after Wrestlemania X-7. I know it's a bit awkward, considering the way the data works and you have to start on April 1, the day of the show itself, but I consider X-7 to be the end of an era, and thus the best place to start. Just so you know, that's why the titles/dispositions are set to what they were post-Wrestlemania. For anybody who has asked, work is continuing on the scenario, I've just slowed down the pace of it a lot. I was getting burned out, doing so much. Fortunately, the bulk of the "absolutely required" work is done and, having played through until February of 2002 so far, I can say with honesty that the data plays pretty well. There will be another update, but it could happen a week from now, or a month from now. Who knows.
