Edgerrin James spoke with Cardinals GM Rod Graves and pleaded to be cut. James knows that he will eventually be cut and he is missing out on other teams right now. A pair of backups with starting experience are making their free agent visits. Nashville’s The City Paper is reporting that Chris Simms will be visiting the Broncos on Wednesday. No word on if this will hurt Jay Cutler’s feelings, though Simms is only expected to be a backup. The Lions are also reportedly interested in Simms, too. Rex Grossman is expected to meet with Cincinnati on Thursday according to Local 12 news. The Bengals seek a backup quarterback after Ryan Fitzpatrick signed with the Bills. The Bengals also will be visiting with quarterbacks J.P. Losman and J.T. O’Sullivan along with receiver Ashley Lelie. * The Baltimore Sun is reporting that Pro Bowl center Matt Birk met with the Ravens for three hours on Wednesday and will continue to meet with the team on Thursday. Baltimore lost center Jason Brown to St. Louis. * Former Browns free-agent safety Mike Adams has completed his visit in Green Bay and will move on to New England according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. AND FINALLY The Washington Post is reporting that the Redskins are still interested in bringing back guard Pete Kendall in a reserve role. The Post is also reporting that Vinny Cerrato is disappointed by Jason Taylor’s refusal to committ to the team’s offseason training schedule. Maybe the Redskins should have had their offseason training schedule shown on ABC.

Supposedly Torry Holt may be headed to San Francisco via trade. I can't remember where I heard it but it was talked about briefly on espn.

Denver picks up three good players in Dawnkins, Buckhalter, and J.J Arrington. Derrick Dockery signs with Washington. So Philly loses Dawkins and now they lose Consadine as well. He signs with Jacsonville. New York and Philadelphia are completing a trade that will send cornerback Lito Sheppard to the Jets while the Eagles will receive a 2009 fifth-round pick and a 2010 conditional draft pick. The pick could be as high as a second-round choice in 2010 and as a low as a fourth. But the Eagles will get two picks and the Jets get Sheppard, who will be in New York Saturday for a physical.

What was Detroit giving up for Lucas..I would assume a 2nd rounder. Ravens cut DE Marques Douglas. Kellen Winslow traded to Tampa bay for a 2nd and 5th round draft pick.

The Buccaneers are taking to much interest in running backs right at the moment and that has me worried. We have Williams (how will be back and be just as good), We have Graham, we have Smith. With that said, if they sign Ward or Kevin Jones, then I see them letting go of Graham.

Right now the concensus around the league is that Tampa Bay could be a landing place for Albert Haynesworth. While he has said he would like to remain in Tennessee he is not going to give them a discount when it comes to his contract. Hush is also another reported target for Tampa. Jeff Garcia may very well be a Bear come opening day of Free Agency.

Guns Knockin On Heaven's Door is a an obvious but I really think it is better than Dylan's. The guitar solo is what really sets it off for me.

What about Edward Norton as Freddy. Personally I think he could pull it off. He's not a huge star, don't get me wrong he's been good in most of all his movies, but his not a huge star and I think he could pull it off.
